Closer Impact
02-03-2012
by Pat Luft
If your like me, and I know many of you are, it is about the 14-15th round of your of your draft and you have 1 closer and there was just a run on them. What do you do? Well first off other than picking that stud OFer that everyone neglected by adding to the run on closers, I start looking ahead to who is still available for a possible save here or there just to stay competitive in the category.
I never like to fully dump a category so I have put together a list for every team that will give us some sleepers or at least a late inning closer that may get some saves if the real closer goes down or gets hurt.
I will keep this up-to-date as well as things develop throughout spring training. The Number beside each player will give you an idea of what to expect from the pitcher in term of saves.
